Hey Guys!
I wanted to make this post because I have been noticing some mistakes that bother me so much in other people’s blogs. I know I did a student blogging challenge awhile back like this, but I wanted to make an updated version. It is so important to use good grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization for your posts.
1. Proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization
When writing a post, it is important to remember the rules of writing. Nobody likes seeing a post with this:
the dog selibrated he bertday?
Of course, I’m guessing it’s unlikely that anybody would talk about a dog celebrating his birthday, but it’s just an example.
2. Post what you LOVE!
Nobody likes a post without love behind it, without meaning. When you post a topic that doesn’t mean anything to you just to get readers it loses the meaning and thought. Also, no copying others, be yourself. Trying to be like somebody else isn’t going to get you anywhere.
3. Pick a theme you love
Pick, a theme, for example, my theme is sweets. And I LOVE sweets. If you liked unicorns, talk about unicorns. Of course, not every post has to be your theme. Also, it’s a good idea for your title, header image, and background to be about your theme too. And it is important to pick a theme you love, not what everybody wants it to be.
I hope you use these tips and tricks well, XOXO Clara
